Frequently asked questions

Answers to the questions we hear most — onboarding, funding, fees, custody, API access, supported assets and compliance. Figures and terms are indicative; final terms apply per client agreement.

Onboarding requirements

Who can open an account?
Fuerte Capital serves corporate, institutional and high-net-worth clients building or holding digital-asset positions. The platform is not available to retail clients.
What verification is required?
Every client completes KYB/KYC identity verification before the first transaction, with enhanced due diligence (EDD) above defined thresholds and periodic re-verification to keep records current.
How do I get started?
Create an account to begin onboarding, or talk to our team first. Access is subject to eligibility and final terms per client agreement.

Funding methods

How do I fund my account?
Fund in fiat through segregated banking partners, or deposit supported digital assets on-chain to the address allocated to your account.
How are client funds held?
Client fiat is held with banking and payment partners and kept segregated from operating funds. Digital assets are held in institutional MPC custody.

Fees

What are your fees?
On-ramp / off-ramp and spot execution are charged at 0.50% of value; transfers (on-chain and internal) at 0.20%; custody safekeeping at USD 100 per account per year. Most flows settle T+0. Final terms are set per client agreement.
Do you offer volume pricing?
Yes. For monthly volumes exceeding $1M, contact us for custom pricing.

Custody & security

How are digital assets secured?
Digital assets are held on institutional multi-party-computation (MPC) custody infrastructure with hardware-backed key material, so no single party holds a complete key and there is no single point of key compromise.
What controls apply to withdrawals?
Withdrawals can only be sent to allow-listed destination addresses. A newly added address clears an approximately 24-hour security-review cooldown before it can receive funds, and movements require policy-based approvals.

API access

Do you offer an API?
Institutional API access is available on request. Contact us to discuss your integration and eligibility.

Supported assets

Which assets do you support?
Fuerte is stablecoin-forward: we support USDT, USDC, ETH and SOL. Bitcoin is not supported.
Which networks are supported?
Stablecoins (USDT, USDC) are supported across multiple leading networks, including Ethereum and Tron. ETH settles on Ethereum and SOL on Solana.

Regulatory compliance

How does Fuerte approach regulation?
Fuerte Capital is a Salvadoran company (SK Fuerte Capital, S.A. de C.V., San Salvador) building digital-asset infrastructure under El Salvador's Digital Asset Service Provider (DASP) framework, administered by the Comisión Nacional de Activos Digitales (CNAD). Our onboarding, screening and reporting are designed to meet those standards.
What AML controls apply?
Inbound and outbound flows are screened with blockchain analytics for AML/KYT risk, including address and counterparty screening and ongoing transaction monitoring. Travel Rule information is exchanged on qualifying transfers where applicable.
